Today for Father's day Clint made Dru a tent! Clint covered the bed with a blanket! He even got in the tent with Dru! What a great dad!

So I finally got the link from our pictures that we had taken on Saturday with Kevin and Roberta. We had them taken at JcPenneys. They let Kevin bring his bike in. Dru wasn't for sure about it all of it at first and then he was hamming it up!

SOOOO BIG!

Dru is officially out of his crib. We decided after Saturday it would be the last time that he would sleep in his crib. I knew that he could get himself out of his crib but we were waiting until our new bedroom was done before putting him in his big boy bed. I woke up to the sound of Dru doing something in the living room. I knew that Clint wasn't with him because I could hear his pjs making noises on the floor. Clint always changes his clothes right away and is talks to him about left foot/right foot. I came out to the living to find Dru with a broom. He had gotten the broom from the basement steps. He didn't go down the steps just got the broom and shut the basement door. He even closed his bedroom door before playing. This weekend we went to my parents for Mother's day. 3 years ago my mom and I bought a VW bug bed. The bug came back with us. Uncle Chad and I put the bed together! My baby is no longer a baby. 53 days until he is 2! Where has the time gone?

Marker King!

Dru loves to play with markers. If I can catch him before he writes on anything it's OK. Tonight I thought he was brushing his hair after his bath but nope he had a Sharpie! Yes, a Sharpie! He drew across his forehead. It looked like he had a uni brow. What else could be do but laugh and take his picture. He is taking after his mommy. I was the marker queen when I was little!

Dru also had a visitor this week! Flat Tessa came to visit. We were apart of Tessa's class project.


We met with the feritlity specialist on Tuesday. For now we are going to try Clomid and pray it works. If it doesn't I'm going to have to have surgery.
My new job is going good. I don't have a lot of students yet but that's ok. It's giving me a chance to spend time with Dru and give my brain a much needed rest.

Changes!!!

Is it a clown? Nope it's Dru with his daddy's shoes on.

Changes are coming to the Spurgeon household.
1. Dru is starting the process of potty training. He has already gone once in the potty. Such a big boy.

2. We are starting the long process of remodeling our house. We are putting a bedroom in our basement. Clint promises me that next will be the kitchen! I hope.

3. I have a different job starting March 30th. I'll be working at Education Resources. I'll be working as a tutor. In the fall 2 different positions will open up one in preschool and the other in first grade. I will miss Childtime and the students that I have been working with though.

4. We are seeing a fertility specialist on the 31st. With Dru and the miscarriage things happened very quickly. This time around things aren't happening. We would appreciate lots of prayers as we start this process.

More changes I'm sure are to coming but for now this is it.
