Sledding!!

We have snow, snow and more snow! Today was finally warm enough to take Dru out and play in the snow. In other words for the people who aren't living in Iowa right now it isn't -20 out! We hit 32 today.

Daycare Friends and 18 month stats

Dru has many friends at Julie's. He is no longer the only boy!! Piper (4) Parker (6 months) Lucas (5 months) and Reece (almost a year old). Piper and Parker are sisters.

Dru had his 18 month check today

height 37 (We think it is more like 34)

He is in good health. He gets to take a Flintstones vitamin now! He only had to have one shot!!

So tired!!

Christmas!

I'm finally getting Christmas on here! Dru started celebrating Christmas on Dec. 23. Clint's work had a Christmas party for the employees' kids. Dru was very amazed by the balloon artist. He got a Santa Monkey made. He also sat on Santa's lap and didn't cry!!

Christmas Eve Dru came to work with me. I got off at noon. We were off by 3 for the first of many Christmases to come. Christmas Eve we went to my Grandma Wiley's. Over 40 of us this year. Here is a picture of what some of it looks like.

Dru and Dawson they are exactly one month apart!

Christmas Day we opened presents at Grandma and Grandpa Spurgeon's. For lunch we went to Clint's aunt and uncle's house.

We ended the weekend by spending Christmas with my family on Saturday night and on Sunday we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Merck's.

I love my new sled. I wish it would snow again so I could use it...Dru

Early Christmas Present!

Dru got to open an early Christmas gift yesterday from Grandma and Grandpa Wiley! He loves his nativity set. He played with it all day. His favorite part is making it play "Away in a Manager"
