Santa Baby

Dru had his first meeting with Santa on Saturday. He didn't cry but he wouldn't smile either. Clint thinks that the Santa has chicken legs!
He had a very big week. He got his first tooth. He is very crabby. I found baby rice cakes and he seems to like those.
Have a great week!!

4-month Check

PICTURES ADDED 11/12/07

Dru had his 4-month check on Friday.
Here are his stats
Weight 19.12
Length 26.75
Head 17.5
This puts him in the 95%. The Dr that we saw isn't his normal Dr. She was very impressed with his strength. He showed off by giving her a big gummy smile. In fact she told me that Clint and I should have more. His hearing is good also. He wasn't too impressed when the nurse gave him his shots though. He was asleep when she started. He gave her such a dirty look when she started. I found it really funny.
We tried to take some really cute fall pictures today. Dru got scared by a dog that was barking and my batteries in my camera were dead. Pictures to come later.
Have a great week!

Dru's First Halloween!!

Dru had his first Halloween. He went as a Tiger. His daddy really wanted him to be Stewie from Family Guy but he didn't really put in efffort into getting the costume put together.

He had an ear infection last week. He just had a runny green nose. I thought I should take him in and they said that his left ear was red. Grandma Jo came and took care of him and me on Friday as I had the flu.
Today he is 4 months. At the dr. they weighed him. He has more than doubled his birth weight. 18.12!! No wonder my back hurts!! He does eat cereal and veggies now. He is getting the motion of crawling. I hope he waits a little for that. Enjoy!

Dru

I was told to create a blog page for Dru. Here it is.

Dru Steven Spurgeon was born July 1st at 9:41am. He was 3 1/2 weeks early and weighed 8 15.4. He was 20.5 inches. I had high blood pressure and he was face up so he came via c-section.

Dru is now 15 weeks and doing so good. He weighs close to 18 pounds. We have started cereal last week. He thinks it's funny to eat.

I'll post pictures later
